Delta Secondary School offers the public various opportunities to donate to the school.
20 Days of Giving
This year, the 20 Days of Giving Campaign which has been happening for more than 21 years, runs from November 20 until December 15. Last year, students raised an incredible $19,345 including food items, toiletries, and gift cards and in doing so, they helped to make the holiday season memorable for 26 local families. This year, students have the admirable goal of creating hampers for 30 local families and supporting the local food bank.
For donations of cash or gift cards, please call ahead to the school office (604-946-4194) to make arrangements. You can make a monetary donation by cash, cheque, credit card or debit Visa. Please make cheques payable to Delta Secondary School and indicate “20 Days of Giving” on the memo line. Monetary donations of $25 or more are eligible for a tax receipt on request.

Pacer Partner Progam
The Pacer Partner program is the only major fundraising undertaken by the PAC. In the past, Pacer Partner funds have been aimed towards capital projects such as the electronic sign; obtaining new technology, including projectors, smartboards, and iPads; and replacing worn-out uniforms and equipment for our sports teams. When you donate to the Pacer Partner program, you mad indicate which department within the school you would like your donation to go towards or request the PAC to direct your funds where they are needed most. Your voluntary donations above $25 will be eligible for tax receipts.

Legacy Outdoor Basketball Court
We at Delta Secondary see the need in Ladner for a quality outdoor Basketball court. Students of all ages and many young adults play regularly at local Elementary Schools where the courts are not suitable for proper safe play. We envision this project to be a huge benefit to Ladner as a whole. Now the focus is to do it right. We are asking the Community to contribute to this project that focuses on local youth. Monetary donations from businesses and or local individuals are now being accepted and which will go directly towards this project. Donations over $25 will be eligible for a Tax Receipt, and all donors will have the option to have their names placed on a board to be permanently displayed on the fence enclosing the Basketball court. No amount is too small. All funds received will be spent on 3 quality goal structures, permanent benches and a partition fence.

DSS Grad 1980 Memorial Bursary
This bursary is given in memory of classmates for Grad 1980 to a hardworking students who gives back to the community and/or school.

Ladner Legacy Bursary
Created by the grad class of 1978, this bursary is given to a hardworking student, not necessarily academic. Grads are asked to submit an essay (250 words or less) on why they meet the criteria, what their future plans are etc.
