Delta Secondary has started the process of examining our current school goals in order to better meet the needs of our learners. Since the start of the 2024-2025 year we have engaged staff, narrowing an area of focus that staff believe is impactful and will have a positive impact on student learning.

From the early work, the conversations have narrowed to a focus on increasing Student Motivation and Engagement to improve Academic Achievement and Tenacity.

The next steps will be to engage a diverse group of students to bring student voice into the process. This process has started and will continue into the new year.

Once completed we will post our updated school plan on the DSS website and share with families in an upcoming school newsletter. We look forward to continuing this work and provide a new focus that will have a positive impact and improve the educational outcomes for all students.
