Truth and Reconciliation Day – September 30, 2024

Acknowledging the traditional territory of the Tsawwassen and Musqueam First Nations and all of the Coast Salish peoples who have been stewards of this land since time immemorial.  We would also like to offer our respect to all the Elders who have gone before us and to the elders and First Nation people who are with us today.

On September 27th, Delta Secondary, like all schools in Delta will be taking part in a walk for Truth and Reconciliation.

In advance of this day, the Pacer Store will be selling Orange DSS shirts for $20 with the proceeds beng split between reconciliation efforts at DSS and the Indian Residential School History and Dialogue Center at UBC.

If your student would like an orange shirt, orders are being processed online through www.pacerstore.ca or shirts can be ordered in Room 2707.

Please order by Thursday September 19th to ensure it will arrive before Orange Shirt Day.  The Orange shirts will be available for pickup on September 26 in Room 2707.
