Camp Ignite is a four-day camp that educates and inspires young women to follow their dreams. The camp, open to girls Grades 11–12 (ages 16–18), is an introduction to the world of firefighting. Participants learn about fitness, nutrition, health and teamwork.
This year’s camp will run from August 9th to August 12th . Camp Ignite is made possible through the support of its sponsors and fire departments, so there are no costs and no barriers in order to participate.
Delta Fire Department will be sponsoring 1 spot for Camp Ignite. Girls Grades 11-12 (ages 16-18) that attend a secondary school in Delta are invited to apply.
Deadline for this application is June 1, 2018 and may be dropped- off at Delta Fire Administrative Office: 4645 Harvest Drive, Delta BC or emailed to gsillett@delta.ca.
