3D stands for Delta Digital Design. It is an innovative program @ Delta Secondary that offers students a chance to explore their interests, develop their skills in a  hands-on, media–rich environment, and get ready for the fast-paced and rapidly changing technological world.

The 3D program consists of four core courses: Digital Media 11, Advanced Digital Media 11, Digital Media 12 and Advanced Digital Media 12.  More than one digital media course can be taken in one year, allowing you to pursue more than one interest!

Inside each course students can choose to follow different streams: graphic design, film production, video game design, website design and even create your own phone apps!

Each course allows for more freedom to develop individual projects as well as your portfolio.

The 3D Makerspace!

What do you do in a Maker Space?

The simple answer is you make things.  Things that you are curious about.  Things that spring from your imagination.  Things that inspire you and things that you admire.  The informal, playful atmosphere allows learning to unfold, rather than conform to a rigid
agenda.  Making, rather than consuming is the focus.  It is craft, engineering, technology and wonder-driven.

A makerspace is a place where students can gather to create, invent, tinker, explore and discover using a variety of tools and materials.
